Senior Cloud Engineer - Cardiff - Initial 6 month contract (£350-380 per day INSIDE IR35 - PAYE)

I am currently partnering with a client who are recruiting for a Senior Cloud Engineer on an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities will include:
*You will deliver application stacks via DevOps practices and "Infrastructure as Code" *
*You'll also monitor and provide support on applications, as well as diagnosing and resolving system and application issues
*You will be creating and updating applications and systems documentation.


Skills/Experience:
*Proficient with using configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
*Proven track record working within the public cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP) including experience with migrating applications from on-premises to public cloud
*In-depth experience with supporting and troubleshooting on Linux and Windows servers.
*Must have experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, or CloudWatch,
*Experience with source control tools including Git, or SVN.
*Have strong knowledge of Cloud Architecture and system
*CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
*You will need experience with orchestration tools (Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation)
*Good knowledge of log management tools e.g. - Elastic Stack, Graylog or Splunk
*Ideally have previous experience with RDBMS such as MySQL and/or Microsoft SQL
*Experience with Docker or Kubernetes would be a bonus.
