A Senior Medical Leadership role came up at country affiliate level with a top tier pharmaceutical company.
As the Senior Director of the Medical function, the role holder will be responsible for effective delivery of the medical affairs, clinical research, regulatory, quality, pharmacolvilance (PV) and medical information functions.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

A Medical Degree or relevant degree/qualification is required
-
Working knowledge and understanding of appropriate regulations and Code(s) of Practice
-
(ABPI/IPHAABHI/PAGB/CAP, other codes, laws and regulations, including Data Protection, Conflicts of interest, Antifraud, Anti Bribery Act, Anticorruption, Competition Law (commercial deals) etc.

Experience in UK medical affairs essential

Signification Management and Leading cross functional teams is required

Proven commercial acumen, with clear understanding of the business market dynamics and the ability to accurately assess and communicate medical, regulatory and quality information as necessary

Experience in other medical functions (e.g. clinical development, pharmacovigilance, field-based medicine) is preferred

Experience of engagement with external industry organisations is required (e.g. ABPI, NICE, PIPA)
