Our client, a global leader, is seeking multiple Data Engineers to join their established team on a permanent basis. The role is working Hybrid and can be based in Manchester, Leeds or Birmingham depending on the closest applicants location



The Data Architect will work closely with customers to define and agree requirements. They will architect, design, cost and plan solutions and will support delivery teams as those solutions are implemented into live service. They will report into and support the Principal Data Architects as the team is managed on a day to day basis and strategic outcomes are delivered.



Skills and experience required:

* Experience in architecting, designing and implementing solutions in the Microsoft Azure stack using technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL Server, Synapse Analytics, Analysis Services and Power BI

* Skilled in data modelling across both operational (OLTP) and analytical (OLAP) use cases

* Experience of Alteryx, Qlik, Tableau and the AWS and GCP platform stacks is an advantage

* Experience of working across end-to-end software development, technology or consulting projects (strategy, discovery, design, development and deployment)

* Experience explaining complex processes and circumstances in technical and non-technical terms to ensure all understand

* A talent for clear, concise communication and getting your point across, both verbal and in written format

* Experience in working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and familiarity with the benefits and risks of each

* The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, handle quickly changing priorities, and be capable of managing yourself to achieve maximum results

* Strong stakeholder management with a history of building solid relationships with customers and team members

* Strong people skills, able to engage with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels

* Ability to support a working culture characterised by collaboration, continuous improvement and commitment to high performance

* Organised and meticulous, tenacious and consistent.
