Key Tasks
You'll work alongside the System Engineer and other team members in order to deliver the required ground software for a mission. This involves the full software development lifecycle in an agile environment:
Requirements capture
Architecture and design
Implementation
Unit, integration and system testing
Bug tracking and version control
Peer reviews (including code reviews)
User documentation
Liaising with customers, including formal customer-facing presentations and customer training
Skills & Experience
Proven experience of developing Java based software running under MS windows.
Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, able to influence, persuade and negotiate with people at all levels (externally & internally)
High degree of organisation, self-motivation and initiative
Good team working skills, together with the ability to interface with others at all levels
Good presentation skills and customer facing skills
Candidates for this role must be happy to work onsite in Guildford
