Division Overview:
The EA division is responsible for:
Defining enterprise architecture directions and standards aligned with company strategies and goals.
Establishing investment themes for developing or transforming IT capabilities in support of business unit strategies.
Maintaining a multi-year strategic investment plan and technology roadmap to guide IT investment decisions.
Steering the definition and realization of capabilities and solutions that align with enterprise architecture directions to support business objectives.
Role Overview:
As an Enterprise Architect within the Security squad, you will define the target and transition architecture and roadmaps for our Security capabilities, ensuring safety in our interactions with customers, markets, and internal operations. Your contributions will include:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy Enablement
Analyze strategic business and IT objectives, considering external industry trends to assess their potential impact on enterprise strategy and architecture.
Lead analyses of current and future-state capabilities to identify gaps, assess new technologies, and recommend improvement solutions that drive enterprise outcomes.
Facilitate alignment between business and IT, supporting the translation into an executable change roadmap that achieves strategic objectives.
Deliver and maintain target and transition architectures and standards, ensuring they provide visibility of strategic direction and implications for the enterprise.
2. Strategy Implementation Oversight
Monitor progress on capability implementation and alignment with established targets and roadmaps.
Provide transparency on the evolution of technology debt, including planning and executing mitigation actions.
3. Delivery Planning and Solutions
Develop clear standards, reference architecture patterns, principles, and guardrails to support effective decision-making.
Collaborate with security, delivery, and infrastructure teams to ensure consistency with enterprise architecture and leverage shared technologies, tools, and processes.
4. Architecture Advisory
Provide consultative advice and support tailored to stakeholders, offering actionable recommendations for decision-making on strategy, delivery, M&A, and other relevant topics.
5. Architecture Practice
Collaborate with fellow architects on transversal architectural topics, fostering a positive working environment.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of architectural practices and the effective delivery of architectural services.
Candidate Profile:
Proven experience as a Network Security Architect or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS) and expertise in threat modeling and risk management.
Experience in highly regulated and critical IT environments, ideally within the financial sector.
Strong understanding of network architecture and design principles, including LAN/WAN technologies, network security services, and protocols (e.g., IPSEC, SSL/TLS).
Comprehensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, both on-premises and cloud-based, including data centers and PaaS services.
Exceptional analytical, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to connect dots in a rapidly evolving environment.
Results-oriented, with a collaborative approach to delivering business outcomes.
Ability to balance long-term and short-term views and implications of various options.
Self-motivated, eager to learn, with a proactive working style.
Effective leadership and strong team player skills, capable of influencing across various organizational levels.
Excellent communication skills, adaptable to different audiences and seniority levels. Fluency in English is required.
Active listening and contribution to community and governance bodies as applicable.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Good understanding of business and technology operating models, strategic planning, cost-benefit analysis, security, and risk management.
Experience in the financial services industry, with an understanding of the regulatory environment, is considered a plus.
Certification in an enterprise architecture framework (e.g., TOGAF) and familiarity with enterprise architecture tools is advantageous.
Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CBCI, GIAC, ISO 22301/27001, LA/LI) are considered a plus.
