Overall, three years of
* Good engine and mechanical diagnostic/problem solving skills.
* Previous experience in engine test/research and development, in building and striping internal combustion engines, or equivalent transferable skills.
* An engineering or motor mechanics apprenticeship, some relevant work experience and have completed some form of relevant higher education.
* Follow documented standard work procedures/instructions to perform safe and defect free engine build, strip and rebuild tasks that allow for high quality data collection.
* Collaborate and communicate with engineers responsible for engine test programs.
* Support value stream improvements projects and utilise Lean tools (BIQ, CI, 5S).
