This role will support a global portfolio of Telecom and Infrastructure products and services. The successful candidate will lead sourcing projects including all key steps such as strategy development, supplier negotiation, awards, contract execution etc.
Key responsibilities:
Collaborate and build partnerships with stakeholders to understand and deliver on requirements for procurement requests
Manage the adoption process for support of category demand - inc intake, triage and delivery of stakeholder requests
Managing the sourcing strategy for subscriptions, support and maintenance within the category
Design and develop relevant RFP documents
Drive and manage analytical efforts in areas specific to business function
Drive the telecom strategy category in support of a global approach, contributing to the overall growth and delivery commitments
Manage suppliers to include negotiation of business agreements and settling disputes/issues if necessary
Skills/experience:
Procurement Manager with proven experience of Telecoms procurement (ie purchasing from talk talk, BT etc) and IT procurement
Ability to manage projects
Experience using procurement tools such as Ariba
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively across organisations
