To support the growth of their US business they are now recruiting for a Medical Director to lead their clinical development function.
Key responsibilities will include;
Provide leadership to the clinical development team working in a cross functional environment
Develop innovative clinical study designs and implement a clinical development strategy
Form part of the Study Team to develop indications and ensure company alignment to deliver the clinical development plan
Contribute to the preparation of clinical protocols, study reports and NDA/CTD documentation
Carry out reviews of medical and safety data
Work in partnership with the clinical operations team to develop and deliver a data quality plan
Act as the Medical Monitor of clinical studies and provide leadership to partnering CROs to achieve study goals
We are keen on speaking with Physicians (MD / DO) with prior experience of working in the Biotech / Pharmaceutical industry, you will be able to demonstrate your experience in the delivery of clinical trials. Experience within the Hepatology or Gastrology therapy area is a must, any experience of NASH would be an advantage.
