The Regional Nomination Platform (RNP) system is being used by most of the channel electricity interconnectors to support some of their key commercial processes. It mainly provides a nomination and interfacing service. It allows the market to buy interconnector capacity through implicit and explicit auctions and to nominate the transmission rights that they hold.
This role is going to work on behalf of the channel interconnectors: Britned, IFA, IFA2 and Nemo Link.
The job will involve regular overseas travel. Most physical meetings are most likely going to take place in Solihull (UK).
-Technical Secretary for the three levels of RNP governance (ISG, PCG, Steering Committee), convening and preparing relevant material
-Manage the key business partnership with Unicorn and acts as the SPOC holding regular meetings
-Own the RNP Roadmap of future changes/releases and coordinate on behalf of all parties
-Manage the commercial negotiation of the Operational Agreement and Participation Agreement contracts
-Manage the performance and involvement of the parties - i.e. highlights internal blockers
-Act as the liaison across the different customer teams
-Act as the liaison across all ICO to ensure alignment and satisfaction with the Unicorn service
-Scheduling and managing escrow deposits and releases as well as security and performance testing alongside the ISG
-Responsible for RNP new-joiners and facilitates the accession of new-joiners to the platform including negotiations, contractual amends and cost sharing
-Manage investment proposals and change requests to RNP by overseeing the scope and the process for negotiation
Hard skills and soft skills:
-Change Management and Project Management skills
-Experience in operational IT platform and vendor/stakeholder management
-Relationship management skills to coordinate change across different RNP groups and towards vendor
-Ability to build/maintain successful working relationships and partnerships with a key Supplier
-Commercial negotiation skills
-Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to present technical change effectively internally and externally and to both senior technical and non-technical audiences
-Good understanding of the business area within which they are operating
-Project Management accreditation an advantage
-French and Dutch is a plus
