We are looking for a quantitative scientist with computational expertise and an interest in cellular genomics and expertise analysing large multivariate data.
The successful candidate will need to be comfortable with carrying out work iteratively and discussing the interpretation of quantitative data and associated methods.

Role responsibilities
·Developing and adapting computational tools for the identification of biological signals (statistical, mathematical and machine learning).
·Develop and maintain internal infrastructure, including the creation of well documented user-friendly tools.
·Working collaboratively with experimental and computational biologists, with the support of senior scientists.
·Developing new research ideas with the scientific, business and leadership teams.
·Contributing to strategic collaborations with key opinion leaders.
·Providing technical and scientific expertise by contributing to proposals, meetings, publications and business development activities.

Experience required:
·Analysis of large multivariable datasets.
·Using sound theoretical reasoning to break down a problem.
·Using quantitative techniques for data, for example with statistical modelling, multivariate analysis, mathematical modelling and/or machine learning.
·Using high performance computing clusters or cloud computing.
·R or Python.
·Understanding the basics of cellular genomics, DNA, RNA and transcription.
Ideally
·Familiarity with next generation sequencing data.
·Single cell sequencing or bioinformatics tools.

We are looking for people with a MSc or PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
