I have recently been approached by one of my key clients in London to partner with them in their search for an experienced DevOps Engineer. This opportunity is working with one of the world's most successful fintech companies. They are one of the fastest-growing businesses in the UK, having won multiple awards and recognitions over the past 3 years. Whilst other organisations have stalled during the COVID-19 pandemic, this client is writing business, lending, and growing the business all whilst hiring through lockdown (20% increase in staff during the lockdown alone!).
They are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help build and manage deployment pipelines in an AWS environment with ECS but just as comfortable working with technology like Terraform and Ansible whilst helping developers grow.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Designing and building the infrastructure to support existing and upcoming products.
- Administering and supporting the 24/7 AWS-based ECS infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, resilient, and performant.
- Programming experience (PHP 7.4, Symfony v4.4 & v5.1, Node.js, Golang)
You must have the following experience:
- A strong background working with Terraform, Jenkins, AWS, Docker and Kubernetes.
They are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer on a 12-month contract and can offer a daily rate of between £500 - £550 per day depending on experience.
