I am currently working with one of the top ten global biotechnology companies to watch in 2020, who have real focus on the development and commercialization of unique gene therapies to change lives. They have a strong pipeline with two clinical trials ongoing, where one trial has just moved into phase 3. This allows my client to have a real chance to change the lives of patients by providing directed gene therapy as a life long and potentially curative treatment.
You will be given the freedom to execute research, such as planning, organising and performing various in vivo experiments to assess the efficacy of AAV constructs. Furthermore, you will be part of a multi diverse team performing immunological, molecular and cell biology techniques including splenocyte antigen recall, ELISAs, qPCR, enzyme activity assay and primary immune cell isolation and culture from a variety of sources. You will be a senior member in the lab providing mentorship and guidance to junior colleagues.
Have experience working on Small animals- Animal license holder (PIL). Must be able to perform tasks such as: animal handling, administration of test agents through ip, iv, sc, blood collection, necropsy
