I am currently partnering with a global manufacturing client who have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Counsel to join their team on an initial 3 month contract.
Working as part of the legal team, this position will work on a broad variety of interesting legal matters supporting a wide range of business units & functions globally.
Duties will include:
Acting as legal advisor to management and business clients
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of international contracts and other legal documents.
Managing legal disputes with vendors, partners and other parties
Negotiate, draft and review complex international contracts including IT Procurement reseller, partnering, licencing, subscription and outsourcing agreements
Advising on complex law projects such as partnerships and joint ventures
Other duties associated with a role of this type.
Skills/Experience:
Fully qualified Lawyer qualified in a Common Law jurisdiction
Ideally experience working in a major law firm or at a multinational company with a focus on commercial contracts
Experience in complex IT services contracts (IP/IT expertise valued)as well as in IT technology/consulting & SaaS contracts.
Experience in multi-jurisdictional transactions
