For the main player of the energy sector in Belgium, we are looking for an ELECTRICAL DESIGNER to join their team working on different construction and maintenance projects for low/medium/high voltage installations all over the country.
Within the team you will develop electrical plans, diagrams, and drawings to ensure the efficient use of electrical components. You will also use CAD systems to generate electrical plans.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
* Assist with creating project estimates and understand the selection and application of the equipment
* Carrying out feasibility study and preliminary study in collaboration with the Project Leaders
* Drawing up implementation plans (drawing up installation plans, equipment plans and structure plans)
* Produce high-quality AutoCAD drawings, site plans, and electrical diagrams to support the broader team's objectives
* Set up and maintain the CAD system, developing library's and establishing standard drawing components
* Ad-hoc support of the Project Leader during the implementation works
Depending on experience, these tasks are performed independently or under supervision.
Who we are looking for:
* You hold a Bachelor's degree or Technical Degree in Electricity or Electromechanics
* You have knowledge of 2D/3D design tools
* You master Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel, macros and VBA
* You speak fluently French or Dutch, and have an understanding of the other language (intermediate). You have an intermediate level of English.
*You have between 0 to 6 years of experience.
