Are you a recent engineering graduate with a burning passion for contributing to the offshore wind expansion and energy transition? Join a dynamic team to help construct the first multipurpose energy island, impacting Europe and Belgium's ambitious Energy Transition goals.
Location: 5 days a week travelling between project office in Ostend, construction site in Flushing and Brussel's office with possibility for occasional homework. Possible short business trips or offshore trips.
Languages: Fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to project development across all phases, from design to construction and installation.
* Lead or support small engineering studies on the energy island, addressing aspects like wave impact and environmental considerations for Nature Inclusive Design elements.
* Generate comprehensive documentation to convey project management and technical insights.
* Take charge of monthly construction tours for internal and external stakeholders.
* Communicate methodologies and progress clearly to diverse visitors.
* Coordinate seamlessly between third parties and island lead engineers.
Degree & Experience:
* Motivated recent engineering graduate with a Master's degree.
* No prior work experience required; eagerness to be part of the team is essential.
* Exhibit structured, independent, and problem-solving skills.
* Quick learner with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Embrace openness and transparency in communication.
* Proficient in MS Office;
* Willingness to undergo offshore training.
