Daily Accounting - Operations Officer (Allocation of Payments)
Mission Context:
Due to a departmental shift, certain operational tasks related to the allocation of payments are being transferred from the Finance department to the Operations department. We are seeking a consultant who will:
Learn the operational tasks of manually allocating payments in the loan & leasing tool.
Assist with the operational workload.
Transfer knowledge to the Operations department.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the allocation of payments, particularly those with incorrect references, by identifying the correct dossiers.
Contact clients to resolve unidentifiable payments.
Establish procedures and contribute to the creation of allocation rules (using Visio).
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on correct allocation rules.
Ensure business continuity and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Language Requirements:
Dutch: Good written and spoken communication skills.
French: Strong written and spoken communication skills.
English: Good knowledge.
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree.
Travel:
N/A.
Telework Expectation:
50% on-site, 50% remote.
Required Experience & Knowledge:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills:
Mandatory:
Proficiency in MS Office.
Familiarity with various IT tools.
Preferable:
Experience with Miles (leasing tool).
Business Experience:
Preferable:
Prior experience in the allocation of payments.
Soft Skills:
Strong communicator with a diplomatic and customer-oriented approach.
Ability to work independently.
Stress-resistant and adaptable to changing environments.
Problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and quality.
