Our industrial gases client based in Dublin required two Plant Operators for the package gases team. Using your forklift truck licence, you will control the filling and loading activity onsite of various gases for distribution to clients. You will operate electrical motors, running cryogenic and non-cryogenic pumps moving and coupling cylinders to fill points and loading into pallets. Previous experience or strongly aligned skills are beneficial in achieve success in the role.
Responsibilities for Plant Operators in the package gas team
* Ensuring that all activity is performed to the operating procedures to maintain high standards of production to prevent contamination perform analytical procedural requirements
* Ensuring that systems are operated safely and efficiently
* Reporting all operational faults as they arise
* Cylinder handling and loading of pallets and trucks
* Cylinder inspection, cleaning and painting, labelling and minor cylinder repairs SHE Management
Skills required
* Valid FLT License
* Proven experience in a similar working environment
* Good communication skills
* Be able to work as part of a team and individually
* Self-motivated independent worker
* Able to work at pace under pressure
* IT literate with experience of SAP, Microsoft Office programmes, Handheld devices: Pact would be advantageous.
