*Develop a thorough understanding of the audience and the documentation required by meeting with members of the product, technology and customer facing teams to discuss technical problems and requirements.
*Actively researches and builds knowledge about products, services, technology, or concepts to be documented
*Prepares internal release notes each week to communicate updates
*Writes and edits technical information according to the template set out by the Documentation Manager
*Prepares or commissions graphics and illustrations to elaborate on or complement technical writing
*Meets with subject matter experts in order to ensure that specialised topics are appropriately addressed and discussed
*Works with sales and marketing colleagues to ensure that external documentation aligns with product documentation
*Revises, edits, or updates instructions, technical information, and frequently asked questions as necessary
*Creates and adapts documentation projects schedules/deadlines and delivers on-time
*Remains up-to-date on the technological and product developments as well as universal specifications relevant to the industry
*Looks for ways to leverage content in multiple ways e.g. for customer use, internal training and to support pre-sales and sales conversations.
*5+ years' experience as a Technical Writer in a B2B SaaS Fintech industry
*Experience in a high growth (start-up/scale-up) environment is desirable
*Experience in enterprise technology is essential
*A foundation of technical knowledge in software and computing including some of AWS cloud, Java, Python, Spring framework, Rest APIs is preferable
*Undergraduate degree in English, Communications or IT field is preferable
*Team player - puts own success below the success of the team.
*Can explain complex things very easily, effective communicator with a focus on keeping things simple
*Flexible and willing to embrace both change and technology and experience using latest tools and automation to scale
*Handles criticism and disagreement constructively
